Three questions we hear most
Most single sheet commissions are issued within one to two weeks. A renovation layout set usually takes two to three weeks. Full permit packages run four to six weeks depending on the authority and on how quickly review comments come back. We confirm the timeline in writing before the table is booked.
Send the building address, a short description of the work, any existing drawings or surveys you hold, equipment cut sheets if a system is being replaced, and the deadline that matters most. Photographs from a site walk are always welcome. Missing documents can be gathered later; the scope and the deadline are the two facts we need first.
Yes. Drawing work travels well, and we regularly serve projects across Ontario and elsewhere in Canada where the authority accepts a digital submission. Site survey walks outside the Ottawa area are arranged in advance and may carry a travel charge, which is always quoted before the work begins.
